Right? (ね)
ね tacks onto the end of a sentence to invite agreement, close to English “isn’t it?” or “right?” It works on nearly anything, statements, observations, even single adjectives standing alone.

In Real Life
ね on a shared observation isn’t really a question, it’s small talk glue, commenting on something you both can already see and inviting a quick nod back. This is the exact same move Korean’s -지요/죠 makes, keeping a conversation moving rather than genuinely asking for new information.

You've been working overtime every day, huh. Are you okay?
In Real Life
ね also checks a specific detail before moving on, 10時からですね confirms the time was heard correctly, closer to “that’s 10, right?” than genuine small talk. The same particle covers both jobs, warm agreement and quick confirmation, context and tone are what tell them apart.
